Dear 2020,
It was nice knowing you.
But I think it’s time for you to go now.
Don’t get me wrong.
I learned a lot from you.
And I’m surprisingly grateful.
You were a very difficult, yet wise, teacher.
Live an authentic life you love
Dear 2020,
It was nice knowing you.
But I think it’s time for you to go now.
Don’t get me wrong.
I learned a lot from you.
And I’m surprisingly grateful.
You were a very difficult, yet wise, teacher.
About a month ago – or “BTP” (before the pandemic) – I created a YouTube video called Start Before You’re Ready.
Given the climate at the time, the video was light and encouraging. It was meant to inspire you to overcome your fear of imperfection, failure/success, or procrastination.
To do the very thing you love. No matter what.
Before you’re ready.
Since that time the whole world has shifted. But I’ve come to realize that those words “start before you’re ready” couldn’t be more relevant. Or more true.
Or more important than they are at this time.
Why is it that some weeks feel so darn hard compared to others?
Everything can be rolling along just fine and then…bam! You feel like a mack truck hit you.
This has definitely been one of those weeks for me.
Strangely enough it all started during an upbeat coaching group I participate in weekly.
We were challenged to choose a long-term goal, and adopt a series of daily, radical steps that would move us closer to it. The idea being that instead of just fantasizing about a dream, we would take actual steps towards it.
Sign me up. As a Life Coach I love this sort of thing.
