I’ve always been good at recognizing patterns.
You know, those moments in life when something pops up not once, not twice, but three times.
And you find yourself saying “hmm, that’s interesting.”
When that happens I take notice.
Cuz I know something’s in the air.
Like the other week. Everywhere I turned I heard things like…
“There’s no better time than the present!”
“Don’t let your fear stop you! Jump in now!”
“What are you waiting for?”
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now!”
You get the gist.
Time is of the essence.
And I get why those words are everywhere.
So many people are craving change right now — ready to shake things up, have more fun, and finally live life on their own terms.
I saw it all around me this summer in Vancouver.
The cruise ships were back. The fireworks were back. The pride parade was back.
Halle-freakin’-lujah! Fun was back!
Yet even so, many women are feeling stuck and confused about what to do next.
Perhaps you can relate.
Maybe you’re stuck at a crossroads in your life.
You’ve just left a job or retired, gotten divorced, or your kids have left home.
And you’re wondering “now what?”
You’re feeling an urge, a stirring, a yearning deep inside of you, and thinking….
“How do I move forward on this dream?”
I get it if so. I’ve felt this way before, too.
There was a time in my life when I realized I’d been putting a lot of my own dreams on hold — waiting for the perfect moment to just begin.
Like doing more writing. Coaching. And teaching.
I decided right then and there to move through my fear.
And jump in head first.

As a result, over the past several years I’ve done a whole host of things I never imagined I would, including:
- Creating this website
- Coaching women to live their best lives
- Teaching online courses
- Writing 100+ blogs
- Filming 30+ YouTube videos
- Creating 300+ posts & 400+ stories and reels on Instagram
- Creating countless free resources to help empower women
My point here is not to toot my own horn.
But to share with you that when I finally decided to stop waiting for “someday,” everything changed.
At the time, none of the above had happened.
Zero. Zip. Zilch.
I had one small blog. And a lot of BIG dreams!
If I’d stayed stuck in my fear of failure, imperfection, and not being good enough, I wouldn’t have done ANY of the above.
And I probably wouldn’t be writing this blog today.
I’d still be sitting on the sidelines of my own life.
Waiting for the stars to align so I could finally begin doing what I’d always wanted to do:
Help women like you be your true self.
And live an authentic and fulfilling life.
Looking back now I realize it didn’t matter how I began to do any of it.
Only that I began.
That I was brave (or crazy!) enough to put myself out there.
And to embrace the mantra “start before you’re ready”, as I talk about in my latest video here:
Cuz through all my trials and errors (and believe me I’ve had many), I’ve gotten clear on what works for me and what doesn’t.
I’ve also realized how important it is to keep taking action towards my dreams, even if I fall flat on my face.
Which I have. Numerous times.
Because that’s how we learn and grow.
And that’s how we build momentum to keep moving forward in life.
So let me ask you this…
What are you yearning to do MORE of? That you’ve been putting off until tomorrow?
What dreams are you ready to pursue, now?
No matter what?
Don’t let your fear stop you!
I challenge you to move through it. And take one micro-action.
Towards that yes
That idea, trip, career, job, hobby, course, new home, business…that whatever!
Don’t wait for the perfect time.
Or to become the perfect person!
Because that will never happen.
Go follow your dreams now, before you’re ready!
I promise, you won’t regret it!
